Archaeological finds saved from landfill through Recycle Archaeology

Thousands of excavated finds that are not able to find homes in museums are thrown away each year. Recycle Archaeology creates new uses for these “de-selected” materials so they do not end up in landfill and donates them to schools, libraries, and community projects. Dr Helen Wickstead shares three interesting finds that she has saved from the rubbish tip.
