New report reveals the extent of the barriers migrants face accessing healthcare during the pandemic

The University of Birmingham and Doctors of the World, supported by the Nuffield Foundation, have today published a new report which reveals the extent of the barriers faced by migrants when accessing healthcare during the pandemic. The report reveals that refugees, asylum seekers and migrants reported higher levels of bad health and inadequate housing during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as difficulties registering with a GP and accessing remote healthcare services, suggesting significant unmet healthcare needs.
